About the Junior Researcher Award
In recognition of Ph.D. students or junior researchers who submit a research paper in topics on either methodology, novel application of statistical methods to problems in other disciplines, or other suitable contributions to biostatistics and data sciences.
Eligibility
Nomination Process
The nomination package shall be sent to the Award Committee Chair of the year with the subject entitled “Junior Researcher Award Nomination”. Nomination items can be sent as pdf, ps or plain text attachments. Nominator is responsible for preparing a complete package for the nominee that should contain the following:
- Nominee’s most recent curriculum vitae
- Cover letter from the nominator summarizing the nominee’s achievement in statistical research and/or applications
Additional nomination materials such as recommendation letters are encouraged but not required.
Deadline
The deadline for nomination will be announced by ICSA yearly.
