The growing trend of global clinical drug development demands increasing number of biometrics-related professionals (biostatisticians, clinical programmers and clinical database professional) across the globe. This trend is most noticeably reflected in the establishment of R&D centers and biometrics centers in China by world's major pharmaceutical companies.
To promote biopharmaceutical statistics education and profession, the 2010 Shanghai International Biostatistics Workshop (SIBW) will be hosted by the Biostatistics Center, East China Normal University, Shanghai, China, from July 19, 2010 to July 21, 2010.
